Picos-de-Europa.jpg

Located in the middle of a privileged and majestic nature, stands La Quinta de Villanueva; Green meadows, white mountains, and the Bay of Biscay, which hisses between the karstic whims of the cliffs, before gently surrendering to the fine sands of its beaches.

In this environment, the possibilities are endless. The proximity between these two very different places makes Asturias a reference destination to practiceAdventure trip, or simply to enjoy the wild and virgin landscapes that make it up.

COAST

The eastern coast of Asturias is dotted withmagnificent beachesof fine sand that are nestled between the infinite cliffs that protect it. Some of these beaches are hidden in small fjords or in beautiful inlets, protecting themselves from the attacks of the rough Cantabrian Sea, resulting in idyllic beaches for bathing.

In addition to enjoying sun and beach tourism, it is also highly recommended to visit some of the most characteristic towns in the area:bowls, plains,RibadesellaeitherThe threeThey are clear examples, where in addition to soaking up the Asturian culture, you can also enjoy its delicacies, accompanied by a good cider.

There is also the possibility of enjoying a visit to theprehistoric cavesthat are near our hotel: the Pindal, the Soplao, Chufín or Tito Bustillo will not leave you indifferent.

MOUNTAIN

The  interior  of eastern Asturias is rugged, wild and exuberant. It is made up of high mountains bathed at their feet by leafy valleys, which together make up thePicos de Europa National Park, which claims to be the first National Park declared by the Spanish state, in 1918.

The limestone massifs that make up the park are a gift for the eyes, as well as being a small paradise for carrying out multipleadventure sports(rafting, canyoning, horseback or bicycle routes, canoeing...).

Also within the National Park, it is a must to visit the Sanctuary of theRoyal Site of Covadonga. This magical place of worship includes the Basilica of Covadonga and the Santa Cueva, a Catholic sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin of Covadonga, which is located on the mountain, over a beautiful waterfall.

From Covadonga the road to thelakesfrom Covadonga, which, although in high season there are restrictions on access by car, are an impressive visit.
